What is the intended age range?
The Bauen Table and Chair are recommended for ages 3-7.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. Our products are capable of withstanding thousands of hours of exposure to weather - and plenty of pool parties and water balloon fights, too.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes. A gentle wipe down with soap and water should clear most stains. Or have some fun and hose it down with your little ones!
Is assembly required?
The Chair requires no assembly. The Table assemble without tools in under two minutes, thanks to our iconic knob locking system.
What material is it made from? Is it safe?
Bauen products are made from marine-grade polyethylene, and it exceeds both US and EU materials safety standards. It is free of lead, phthalates, cadmium, BPA, organotin and PAHs, among other toxins.
We purposefully selected this material for its unmatched strength and non-toxic composition.
Why do Bauen products look different?
Kids use their furniture in creative ways! A chair is a racecar at breakfast and a lifeguard stand by bath time.
So we spent two years and 100+ design iterations developing furniture ready for anything, because we thought of everything.
Aren’t all kids’ chairs “tip-resistant?”
Traditional tip-testing standards do not deliver the degree of stability we expect as parents. At Bauen, we developed our own patent-pending Chair design to deliver unmatched tip defense through a lower center gravity, outward leg angle and extra-wide footprint.
